Connings Kitchen is a fusion between a café and a deli and is another way for us to get the produce we grow at Connings Market Garden to your plate (and puku).

Aside from the obvious benefit of being able to grab a coffee while you peruse the aisles of colourful produce... Connings Kitchen came about through our continued desire to reduce waste.

At its inception, Connings Food Market (then Farm Fresh) began not only through the love of making fresh produce available at affordable prices, but also to reduce the produce waste from the Connings Market Garden – the product that didn't get snapped up and shipped away by buyers.

So, at Connings Kitchen, instead of letting imperfect produce go to waste, we put them to good use in our Connings Kitchen recipes. Every wonky carrot deserves a second chance after all.
