We grow vegetables and berries on over 160ha of land, 12 months of the year, supplying CONNINGS FOOD MARKETS and all other major supermarkets right across the country. Currently the business is going through a period of growth and we want equally motivated people to get on board.

At Connings market garden, you'll be a vital part of our farm-to-table journey, transforming freshly harvested vegetables into prepared orders for the wholesale markets and our very own, Connings Food Market. This hands-on role involves organising and preparing our premium produce with care, ensuring each order meets our high standards of quality and presentation. We're seeking an enthusiastic individual who is detail-oriented, physically fit, and passionate about local produce. • Report to the dispatch Manager and be an integral part of our post harvest team

• Wash, pack, stack, label and wrap produce ready for dispatch to the markets and Connings Food Market

• Have an eye for detail and maintain Connings high quality standards

You will bring a can do attitude and proven team leadership experience.

You will also have the following attributes:

• Be able to think on your feet and thrive in the ever-changing environment of horticulture

• Be physically fit, fast paced and efficient

• Be competent at using computers

• Be able to drive/learn to drive a forklift. Forklift licence preferred but not necessary

• Flexible – due to the nature of the industry you must be available to work extended hours when required.

• Be able to work one half day on the weekends

• Be able to work the approximate hours of 10am – 6:30pm
