We grow vegetables and berries on over 160ha of land, 12 months of the year, supplying CONNINGS FOOD MARKETS and all other major supermarkets right across the country. Currently the business is going through a period of growth and we want equally motivated people to get on board.

In this role you will gain experience in all aspects of harvest, post harvest and sales of Connings produce. You will be involved in the operation of machinery, manual and mechanical harvesting, packing, transport, dispatch and sales. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who wants to grow into a senior leader within our business.

• Report to the Sales Manager and be an integral part of our harvest and post harvest team.

• Be involved in planning, organising and supporting the daily harvesting, packing and dispatch of all vegetable and berry crops.

• Provide sales support with the various markets across the country.

• Lead teams within the business as your experience grows.

You will bring a can do attitude and proven team leadership experience.

• Be happy to lead by example and get your hands dirty working alongside the harvesting and packing teams.

• Be physically fit, fast paced and efficient.

• Full NZ drivers licence with ability to drive a tractor.

• Flexible – due to the nature of the industry you must be available to work extended hours and weekends when required.

• Tertiary qualification preferred.
