Connings is seeking a Produce Supervisor to lead our dedicated Produce team in the Nelson Pop Up store.

  • As a Produce Supervisor at Connings Pop up you will assist the Store Manager in ensuring the Produce Department operates smoothly on a daily basis. Your role will involve closely monitoring the shop floor and providing support to the produce team. Your enthusiasm and commitment to excellence will contribute to creating a welcoming and well presented store for our shoppers.

    Please note that this role requires availability to work at least one day during the weekend.

    • Direct and organise the team filling, displaying and maintaining the produce stock levels

    • Guide the team’s workflow and ensure work is carried out efficiently in a positive and collaborative environment

    • Ensure work areas are maintained in a clean, tidy, and safe manner that adhere to health and safety regulations

    • Provide the produce team with initial and ongoing training, encouragement and support

    • Deliver and maintain exceptional customer service standards across the team

    • You will have the ability to think on your feet and make effective decisions

    • Lead from the front and inspire the team

    • Have clear and effective communication skills

    • Be capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while supervising the team

    • Have a sense of urgency, excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize workflow efficiently

    • Maintain high presentation standards

    • Deliver exceptional customer service

    • Be physically fit and able to lift crates of produce weighing up to 20 kg
