As a Retail Assistant at Connings, you will be the enthusiastic and helpful first impression for our customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring an outstanding shopping experience. A warm smile and great communication skills are essential. While a basic knowledge of produce is required, we offer comprehensive on-the-job training to help you become a produce expert.

Please note, this role may be during school hours and is not suitable for school students or those seeking work around school hours.

• Greet and engage with customers at the tills, providing a welcoming and friendly service

• Efficiently process transactions and manage cash handling

• Maintain a clean and organised checkout area

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly

• Perform other tasks as required to support the smooth operation of the store

• You will be a team player with a positive attitude

• Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members

• Be able to multitask and adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced retail environment

• Demonstrate a strong focus on delivering great customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction

• Have a flexible approach to work, being able to assist with various tasks as needed

• Show initiative and a proactive approach to maintaining store standards and contributing to a positive store atmosphere
